COVID Training Protocol

COVID-19 During 2021 – 2022 Season

1. Peak Nordic Ski Club will follow the current CDC guidelines.
2. Masked social distancing is encouraged before, during, and after practices, Team Travel events, and competitions.
3. For the protection of all of our athletes, coaches, and community members – particularly the youngest and those who may not be vaccinated, we will require all Peak members to be masked in shelters such as Evergreen.

 

COVID-19 During Summer 2021 Season

1. All coaches and athletes are to refrain from attending practices, Team Travel events, and/or competitions when they are ill or a family member in their household is ill.
2. Athletes are to refrain from attending practices, Team Travel events, and/or competitions when they have been placed in quarantine by their school.
3. Masked social distancing is encouraged before, during, and after practices, Team Travel events, and competitions.

COVID-19 During 2020-21 Season

  1. All coaches and athletes are to refrain from attending practices, Team Travel events, and/or competitions when they are ill or a family member in their household is ill.
  2. Athletes are to refrain from attending practices, Team Travel events, and/or competitions when they have been placed in quarantine by their school.
  3. The following is checked and logged at all practices, Team Travel events, and competitions:
    1. Temperature – A coach, captain, or manager uses a “non-contact” thermometer to take and record all coaches’ and athletes’ temperatures. A temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or greater disqualifies a coach or athlete from participating.
    2. Flu-Like Symptoms – Each coach and athlete are asked to confirm they have no flu-like symptoms and their answer is recorded. Confirmation of flu-like symptoms disqualifies a coach or athlete from participating.
  4. Social distancing is encouraged before, during, and after practices, Team Travel events, and competitions.
  5. Masks will be worn in staging area before, during and after practices.
